Michael Jackson RIP Ultimate Disbelief!

Michael Jackson the amazing Michael Jackson. All I can think about is how obsessed I was with his 1988 film Moonwalker, how I went with my Mum to return the Michael Jackson tickets when I was about 11 as it clashed with something I had to go to regards school, I don't know what it was - I just remember handing over those tickets so vividly. I never witnessed Michael Jackson. This is a hole that aches in my belly.

Farrah Fawcett also died today. De Rosa, one of my favourite bands ever, are also no more, but thankfully the ex members are all still alive to follow their own creative pursuits.

Traumatic week.

A great musician I never got to draw

John Martyn died today at the age of 60.
Having influenced a good few folks who have influenced our current music landscape, including Beth Orton, Eric Clapton, Beck and Morcheeba, this particularly great artist's beautiful music, words and presence will be very much missed.
